A few years ago, the St. Gallen public transport company decommissioned seventeen old trolleybuses and sold them to Sarajevo. They continue to transport passengers there in unaltered condition to this day. However, the operating company in Sarajevo lacks financial resources. Every few weeks, employee strikes occur, bringing public transport in the city to a standstill. Four of the former St. Gallen buses have already completely stopped operating due to a lack of spare parts.
