The Reinhardt von Graffenried Foundation is delighted to announce the nominees for the Swiss media prize, the Swiss Press Award.
One Italian-, five journalists from French-speaking Switzerland and seven German-speaking teams are nominated for this year’s national media prize – the Swiss Press Award
The Reinhardt von Graffenried Foundation is delighted to announce the nominees for the Swiss media prize, the Swiss Press Award.
On 27 April, the winners of the categories Text, Online, Audio, Video, and Local will be announced, and each winner will receive CHF 15,000. The 2nd prize is CHF 3,000 and the 3rd CHF 1,000. Additionally, the “Swiss Press Journalist of the Year” and the “Swiss Press Photographer of the Year” will be announced, each in turn receiving CHF 25,000.
On the same day, the Swiss Press Song 22 “IN EROPLAN”, composed and performed by the Rhaeto-Romance musician Pascal Gamboni, will be premiered. Pascal Gamoni is the seventh musician to create a Swiss Press Song in honour of all Swiss journalists, following in the footsteps of Polo Hofer, La Gale, Sebalter, Bibi Vaplan, Big Zis, Pat Burgener and Vad Vuc.
Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin will address the Swiss journalists.
The award ceremony will be live-streamed from the University of Bern, on 27 April 2022 at 6.30pm sharp, at http://www.swisspressaward.ch.
