Lee Johnson

Lee Johnson, Software Engineer, 1980
Lee Johnson was born in northern England and would not escape until his late twenties, having collected a BSc in forensic science and a MSc in software engineering. Along the way he developed an interest in photography, largely influenced by the amount of time he spent skateboarding. Through that he became technically proficient in lighting techniques, analog development and printing, and medium format camera usage. For a few years he was a contributing photographer for the two major skateboarding magazines in the United Kingdom, along with several online web zines. After spending four years working for The Press Association, then six years in Cambridge, he decided to leave the United Kingdom ending up in a Swiss village in the Alpes Vaudoise. He currently works for a small non-profit foundation, where he spends most of his time writing perl code. In his free time he focuses on his long term photography projects, snowboards, and continues in a third attempt to learn a foreign language.
