Bastien Gallay est un photographe indépendant et un reporter d'image. Il est diplômé de l'école de photographie de Vevey depuis juillet 2020. Il est membre des associations Impressum et SportPress. Il passe la majorité de son temps à faire des photos de sports, principalement en photographiant les matchs du SFC et du GSHC pour le compte de Tx Group, dont font partie notamment les journaux de La Tribune de Genève, 20 Minutes, 24 Heures, Le Matin et Le Matin Dimanche. Il collabore également avec la rédaction locale de La Tribune de Genève, pour qui il réalise différents reportages : il a notamment couvert le Paléo Festival, diverses manifestations locales et effectué des portraits de personnalités genevoises. À plusieurs occasion il a eu le privilège d’être épaulé par Eric Lafargue et même de collaborer avec lui.
