A freelance reportage about the experience of a mountain pass trip. I'm interested in how differently people experience the mountain world and how it's transformed into a consumable event: Some travelers feel closer to the primal world up there, others find the mountainous terrain eerie, and still others are bored. The result is a portfolio in the form of a newspaper that was sent to interested parties. I photographed mainly on the Grimsel Pass, the Susten Pass, and the Flüela Pass between 2012 and 2014.
