Rising temperatures and several consecutive years of insufficient rainfall have contributed to one of the worst droughts in its history and a growing situation of food insecurity across communities. 1.5 million people starve in Madagascar, one of the poorest countries in the world. Malnutrition among children is expected to quadruple in the coming months as drought worsens.
