At the initiative of Josef Zisyadis, a Vaud politician and president of the Semaine du goût (Gustave Week), Vaud winegrowers went to replant vines on the island of Patmos, Greece. To revive a culture that had disappeared on the island. The project, designed to be ecological in these difficult economic times for the Greek people, was implemented with the help of religious authorities and the local population.
