Farmer Markus Hauenstein is the only farmer in the canton of Aargau who has a permit for on-farm slaughter and carries out the process himself. He is assisted during the report by apprentice farmer Julian Barmettler. After the slaughter, the animal is immediately taken to the slaughterhouse in Endingen, where it is slaughtered by butcher Harry Werder.
