This article examines the spatial segregation of rich and poor in Switzerland using a socioeconomic index (based on data on rents, education level, occupation, and household occupancy). The result: Many cities are highly segregated. There are sharp divisions between poor and rich neighborhoods. An interactive tool also shows the inequality patterns for each municipality.
