I observe the everyday life of a family with two girls (5 and 9 years old) in their Zurich apartment. The parents share paid work and childcare. With this report, I particularly want to highlight the shifting roles of parents. The active participation of fathers in family life—not just as a part-time father, but in everyday life—documents a still tentative but significant change in our society. The series was created in March 2013 for the special issue "Career and Family" of Fritz+Fränzi, the parenting magazine.
