"The other team members did much better than I did." That's not just anyone saying it. It's Monika Kamm, the winner of the short-distance National Park Bike Marathon on August 30, 2014. As a biking novice, she dug her dusty bike out of the basement and signed up for the EP Team project. She learned to ride from the ground up within three months. On race day, she nervously started the race in S-chanf, and after an hour and 47 minutes, she stepped off her bike in Scuol as the great winner. A crazy story surrounding the 13th National Park Bike Marathon in the anniversary year of the Swiss National Park. An incredible story that the Engadiner Post/Posta Ladina helped write. In the spring, the Engadiner Post launched the EP Team project. From over 60 registrations, the EP/PL selected six people for the EP Team. On June 1st, six selected individual athletes reported for their first training session, and three months later, a close-knit team competed in the season's highlight. "Without the EP team, I would have thrown in the towel," said Christian Heis, a member of the EP team, after the race. The six participants suffered, but the team spirit inspired them and carried them to the finish line. Each individual achieved their individual goal. But ultimately, they won together as a team. Emotions ran high, and tears flowed after the race... The Engadiner Post/Posta Ladina passionately supported the EP team, accompanied each joint training session, and ultimately reported on the race. After each training session, a full page with photos, text, and commentary (Ventil) appeared in the print edition. A video was published online at the same time. The text and images were also published online at www.engadinerpost.ch/ep-team. With this project, the Engadiner Post/Posta Ladina pushed the interaction between print and online, and the fan base steadily grew on Facebook (www.facebook.com/dasEPTeam). For the Engadiner Post/Posta Ladina, the EP team was a successful project with an incredibly emotional outcome. A total of over 20 pages about the project appeared in the print edition of the Engadiner Post. All images, texts, and videos were published online.
