An accident without end

Fabian Biasio

On March 11, 2011, three reactors melted down at the Japanese Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. Large areas were contaminated, and thousands of people had to be forcibly evacuated. The government is now attempting to decontaminate the contaminated areas. But the accident shows no signs of slowing down – barely cleaned up, the radioactive particles are spreading across the country again.
