To introduce Franz Ruppen, a candidate for the Valais State Council, my journalist colleague and I went to his office. Offices are often workspaces without visual interest. I decided to use flashes to focus on the candidate. The newspaper used the softer portrait for print, but the more directive image was published as an enhancement on the web.
