Project to Boost Information in the Vallorbe Journal There is a real need for effective communication among merchants, local businesses, industry, and public authorities in the Vallorbe region. This observation prompted the two undersigned, Jean Fleurimont, merchant, and Pierre Blanchard, journalist, to consider how to improve the situation. We approached Stéphane Viennet to see how it was possible to collaborate with the Vallorbe Journal. The latter agreed to sell us the back page of the "Touts ménages" (All Households) issue, i.e., four editions per year. With this agreement, we developed a project that includes a space reserved for information from public authorities or the tourist office. A space intended for merchants and local industries, to whom we offer the writing of a profile that could have a website version with a gallery of five photos, as well as a space available to local companies. In addition, to finance the operation, the page includes advertising blocks and a section called La Truite, which aims to take an offbeat look at village and regional news. The Association for the Economic Development of Northern Vaud (ADNV) has agreed to sponsor this section. Here are the first two pages created in 2014.
