For 18 years, Graubünden shepherdess Pia Solèr has spent her summers on the Scharboda Alp near Vrin in the Lugnez region. The hut, located at 2,050 meters above sea level, consists of a dormitory with four beds and an open kitchen with a table. This year, she moved to the alpine pasture with 900 sheep. She also brings a few goats, which provide her with milk and cheese.
