On 23rd November 2018, politician Pierre Maudet’s star has already fallen: In Geneva, the city council takes part at an emergency meeting of the canton’s FDP (the Liberal party). Despite the grave faces, they cannot bring themselves to demand his resignation. Maudet is being prosecuted for accepting in-kind benefits, after being invited on
