Live it out - "Even in old age, you can't stand still. It's always moving towards finiteness."

Annette Boutellier

Life is finite. For people in their eighties and nineties, looking back opens up a wealth of experiences, but looking forward confronts their own transience. In the portrait book "Ausleben" (Living Out), older people talk about their lives and their thoughts about their approaching death. I portrayed the very elderly during these encounters.
