Christine Brand, 1973 im Emmental geboren, arbeitete nach zwei Jahren bei der "Berner Zeitung" neun Jahre bei der Zeitung "Der Bund". Anschliessend war sie Reporterin bei der Sendung "Rundschau" des Schweizer Fernsehens, seit 2008 ist sie Redaktorin im Hintergrund-Ressort der "NZZ am Sonntag". Daneben schreibt sie Kriminalromane.
