The fascination of snow and ice captivates children in particular. They never tire of pulling their sleds up the hill countless times, then speeding down or gliding across the ice on runners. Together with my colleague and photographer Benjamin Manser, we captured these scenes from above with a drone.

Urs Bucher arbeitet seit über 40 Jahren in der Fotobranche. 10 Jahre war er als Fotograf für die Zürcher Bild-Agentur EQ Images tätig. Für sie fotografierte er an diversen Sportveranstaltungen weltweit. Seine Fotos und Reportagen sind in verschiedenen internationalen Publikationen und Magazinen erschienen. National werden seine Bilder in den wichtigsten Zeitungen wie Blick, Tagesanzeiger und NZZ publiziert. Heute arbeitet Urs Bucher als freier Fotograf in St. Gallen.
