Markus Bühler

Zürich, 1969

Markus Bühler, geboren 1969, absolvierte zuerst eine kaufmännische Lehre bevor 
er 1991 die Ausbildung zum Fotografen bei Anne Marie & Peter Schudel sowie bei Dennis Savini absolvierte. Von 1994 bis 2004 fotografierte er für die Agentur LOOKAT und ist seit 2004 freischaffend. Er arbeitet für verschiedene Zeitschriften, Agenturen und Konzerne diverse Buchverläge. Seine Arbeiten werden in Museen wie NONAM Zürich, Linden-Museum Stuttgart u.a. ausgestellt. Seit 1997 bereist er regelmässig die Arktis, um das Leben der Inuit
zu dokumentieren. Seine Langzeitprojekte publiziert er regelmässig als Bücher Er lebt mit seiner Partnerin und seinen 3 Söhnen auf einem Bauernhof im Zürcher Weinland.
