A look behind the scenes of the Swiss National Circus Knie during a performance in Bern on August 12, 2010. The Circus Knie dynasty, founded in 1803, is one of the oldest and leading circus companies in Europe. The Swiss Circus Knie, led by brothers Franco and Fredy Knie Jr., employs around 200 performers from 16 different nations during the tour.
