The emergency services are in demand as much as ever in 2014. For example, on the evening of 17 July, because of a fire on the roof of the Cantonal Bank in Zug. Or on 13 August, in Tiefencastel in Grison, where a landslide on a steep cliff forces several carriages of the Rhaetian Railway train off the rails. 11 people are hurt, some of them are severely injured. Later, an 85 year old man succumbs to his injuries.
