A Swiss Army Super Puma helicopter crashed and burned near the Gotthard Hospice on September 28, 2016. Both pilots were killed, and the flight assistant was hospitalized. The tragic accident occurred just under a month after an F/A-18 crashed during a training flight in the Susten area.
