Femme d’engagement et de foi, elle réussit une magnifique intégration et trouve vite un emploi au sein de l’Église catholique à Genève. Jeune retraitée, elle continue à s’impliquer pour les plus démunis de son pays natal.

From the 1960s to the present day, ten stories of women from immigrant backgrounds living in French-speaking Switzerland. They left their countries and loved ones to flee poverty, persecution, war, and violence. In Switzerland, they found a safe space where they could live their lives as women, in freedom. These women confided in Nicole Von Kaenel in a book.
