Switzerland's best footballers are competing at the 2010 World Cup. The worst are on FC Ebikon's third team. 18 games, 97 goals conceded, zero points, last place. And that in the fifth division. It can't get any worse. FC Ebikon's third team is the worst football team in Switzerland, and Fritsche is the country's most unfortunate goalkeeper. Thirteen players from the third team are training on this Thursday evening at the end of May 2010 at the Risch sports field in Ebikon, Lucerne. "Overzealous in a one-on-one!" yells goalkeeper Tobias Fritsche (18). But the defender's conviction isn't enough; the striker breaks through and runs alone toward goal. Fritsche is waiting. Shot. Fritsche flies, stretches, but it's not enough. Goal. "Shit," mutters the FC Ebikon 3 goalkeeper and pulls himself to his feet. He has muttered "shit" a lot this season, and he has had to pick himself up again and again.
