I wanted to know exactly what the situation was with Biel's much-vaunted bilingualism. Is it still functioning? Is it alive, or just an alibi? I wanted to try to put my finger on it where it hurts. I visited the bilingual kindergarten, the mayor's office, the library, listened to the city council, visited Mario Cortesi and his bilingual newspaper Biel-Bienne, and attended a bilingual violin lesson.

Als 14jährige Schülerin schrieb ich für die Jugendseiten des Bieler Tagblatts. Nach der kaufmännischen Ausbildung und meinem 2jährigen Volontariat bei Radio Canal 3 in Biel wechselte ich ins Reporterteam von Radio 24. Nach einem kurzen Abstecher bei TV 3 (selig) machte ich wieder Radio, zuerst erneut bei Radio 24, danach als Produzentin bei SRF 1. Seit 2004 bin ich nun in der Abteilung Information bei Radio SRF, zuerst als Nachrichtensprecherin, danach als Moderatorin und Produzentin bei Info3. Als Morgenmensch moderierte ich zudem während 2 Jahren die Primetime-Sendung "Heute Morgen". Und seit Frühling 2014 bin ich Inlandredaktorin, also weniger am Mikrofon, dafür mehr an der journalistischen Front, was mich sehr glücklich macht.
