Vaud painter Walter Mafli has been claiming for years that the sale of his paintings supports his foundation, which helps children. In reality, and without telling his buyers, he has paralyzed the foundation's activities by confiscating its funds, namely 200 paintings. This starting point for my investigation allowed me to meet a key witness who also revealed an entire system of illegal sales of the artist's paintings.
