Cery: at the heart of a psychiatric hospital

Bertrand Cottet

The hospital opened its doors to me for a week. An opportunity to realize that the line between madness and normality is much more complex than one might imagine. The result published in L'Illustré underwent four understandable but restrictive "censorships": by patients, caregivers, hospital management, families, and guardians. In total, 95% of the photos were rejected.
