While religious violence is making headlines, Switzerland is experiencing a world first in terms of religious tolerance: in the heart of the new Europaplatz Centre in Bern, eight religious communities - Alevites, Baha'is, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jews, Muslims and Sikhs - have recently been sharing 3,200 m² dedicated to the practice of their beliefs.
