Lior Etter and Valentin Stocker first met and grew to know each other in the SC Kriens youth teams. A few years ago, they were among the best youth players in Central Switzerland. After that, their paths diverged. Valentin joined FC Basel's youth team before completing his high school diploma, Lior finished high school, while he made the jump to FC Luzern's first team. He made his debut in February 2009. However, after just over a year, Lior had enough of professional football. He took a break and went traveling. Valentin has now established himself as a professional footballer and is one of the best players in the Swiss professional league, as well as a Swiss international. Dani tried to find out in a conversation with the two of them why Lior decided against a career as a footballer and Valentin chose it.
