The moon rises behind the peak of Mount Säntis. A so-called supermoon was observed in Switzerland on Saturday. On that day, the celestial body was at its closest point to Earth in its elliptical orbit and therefore appeared about 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than on other days.
