After losing 1 billion francs over the past six years, the owner of the Tamoil refinery in Collombey announced the suspension of operations on January 13, 2015. Only a few jobs will be maintained out of the current 240. Tamoil employees, supported by the Christian Interprofessional Unions of Valais and Unia, are demonstrating in front of the refinery.
