Je suis photographe RP-CH depuis 30ans. Je vis et travaille à Genève, en Suisse. Collaborateur à temps partiel à 60 % du quotidien Le Courrier. Je réalise aussi bien des travaux photographiques sur commande pour la presse quotidienne ou dans l’événementiel ou des projets documentaires au long cours ( extrême droite radicale en Europe, USA et Russie, ex-Yougoslavie, Palestine, Japon, Lampedusa/Sicile, etc.), avec le CICR en République Démocratique du Congo. En 2012, Jean-Patrick Di Silvestro a reçu le 1er prix au Swiss Press Award dans la catégorie «portrait». Mon travail sur l’extrême droite radicale était présenté au Festival international de photojournalisme «Visa pour l’image» de Perpignan en France.Parution en 2017 du livre ( Après les vagues, autour de Fukushima ).
