The film "Ora et labora ed ils Flyers" amusingly depicts how two completely different worlds collide: that of the Benedictine nuns of Müstair and that of the Kloten Flyers ice hockey club. For approximately 11 years, Prioress Domenica and her eleven fellow nuns have followed the Kloten Flyers championship games with joy and excitement. This extraordinary passion began with a call from a Kloten Flyers fan. Since the Zurich club was not doing particularly well financially or in terms of its playing performance, the fan asked the nuns to pray for the Kloten Flyers. From these prayers for divine assistance, the nuns of Müstair developed a great passion for this ice hockey club. However, since the Benedictine nuns live in a closed monastery, it is impossible to attend a game in person. Marco Schena, Sister Domenica's nephew, also discovered this when he wanted to invite the nuns to one of the Kloten Flyers games. So he thought that if the nuns weren't allowed to visit the Flyers, it might be possible to invite the Flyers to the nuns in Müstair. Surprisingly, the Kloten Flyers agreed to his spontaneous email request. They traveled to Müstair to surprise the Benedictine nuns. The film "Ora et labora ed ils Flyers" depicts each of the crucial phases of this extraordinary event. For example, Marco Schena's shout of joy upon receiving the Flyers' positive response, or the nuns' surprise at the hockey players' arrival. As a counterpoint to this meeting, the film shows how the nuns of Müstair go about their daily lives.
