Alzheimer's and dementia are diseases of the elderly. Or so one might think. But increasingly, people are also developing Alzheimer's before reaching retirement age. This report from the Roter Faden Dementia Center in Ebikon draws attention to this problem and gives those affected a voice. The report was prompted by the launch of an information campaign by the Alzheimer's Association of the Canton of Lucerne. Following the submitted report, the topic was discussed in more detail during a conversation with the association's president. The conversation is included for illustrative purposes. However, only the report will be considered for the competition.
