Lou Engle, an American leader of The Call organization and known for his extremist statements, was invited by an evangelical church in the canton of Vaud. Following the publication of an article on the subject, the church retracted its statement. He was then invited to Geneva. Following the protests against his visit, Lou Engle decided not to attend. Le Matin, of course, followed all these developments.
