"Welcome to Switzerland" seeks to show that there's no need to travel to the other side of the world to experience a change of scenery and be welcomed into the country. The goal of this project was to demonstrate, through a three-month journey through the 26 cantons of the Confederation, that the Swiss love to welcome foreigners and introduce them to their region. This tour of the 26 Swiss cantons, by asking for hospitality from the inhabitants of each region crossed, resulted in the publication of 26 pages of purely local journalism, offering the discovery of the entire country to readers of six French-speaking daily newspapers. The 26 pages were published from July 12 to August 14, 2010.
