It's a tradition: every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, the L'Escale hotel and restaurant in Givisiez organizes a bingo game in its main hall. The participants are regulars; they come as neighbors, among friends. They don't really like being photographed; they're afraid of being disturbed, of being distracted during the draw. But if you're patient, they adopt us with great kindness.

Yvain Genevay est un photographe suisse basé à Lausanne. Il travaille principalement comme reporter et portraitiste pour la presse quotidienne et hebdomadaire. En 2000, il a rejoint les rédactions du Matin et du Matin Dimanche comme photographe permanent. En 2015, il reçoit le Swiss Press Award 15 "Photographer of the Year" pour un reportage sur une famille de réfugiés syriens. Depuis 2018, il est photographe permanent pour la rédaction du Matin Dimanche.
