Born in 1991 in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, Jessy was assigned male at birth. In a patriarchal society where armed militias rule based on Islam and Palestinian nationalism, she is imprisoned and tortured by her family. Exiled in Switzerland since November 2015, she fights every moment to earn the right to become who she is: a woman.
