In April 2011, Coralie Bornand, a 25-year-old woman from Gruyère, was refused a job as a waitress in a mountain pasture. The reason: she was too corpulent, according to the employer, who had promised her the job during an initial interview. The young woman's testimony, the employer's explanations, and insights into this case of discrimination by a lawyer from Bulle and the director of the Paris Discrimination Observatory.
