Roma from Bulgaria repeatedly beg in Bern. They often refuse to disclose their living conditions and appear timid during interrogations. Alexander Ott, head of the immigration police for the city of Bern, and his colleague Steven Schaub traveled to Burgas to assess the current situation firsthand. I accompanied the immigration police officers and was able to gain a firsthand impression of the situation.

Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Primarlehrerin habe ich an der Universität Bern Jura und Medien studiert und einen Master erlangt. Als angestellte Redaktorin verfasse ich Artikel rund ums wirtschaftliche, politische, regionale und kantonale Geschehen. Meine journalistische Arbeit ist auch bereits ausgezeichnet worden. So habe ich bereits zwei Mal einen Preis für herausragende journalistische Leistungen vom Schweizerischen Anwaltsverband verliehen bekommen.
