On September 23, 2012, the people of Neuchâtel were to vote on the RER-Transrun project. Estimated at 920 million, this project is crucial for the future of the canton, particularly to allow its public transport to finally enter the 21st century. But it quickly became clear that it was not generating enthusiasm. Why are the people of Neuchâtel not daring to embrace the future? That was the subject of this investigation. Three days after the article was published, the people rejected the project by a tiny majority of 50.2%.
