The canton of Fribourg borders the canton of Neuchâtel only by water, not by land. This series attempts to capture what connects the two cantons. Urs Haenni, editor of the Freiburger Nachrichten, was the idea, coordinated, and contributed the majority of the texts. Published in seven parts in the Freiburger Nachrichten between July 22 and September 6, 2011.
