To mark the breakthrough of the NRLA (New Road Transit System), the Graubünden regional journal profiled people who were shaped by the large-scale construction project in Sedrun. Among them was former brothel owner Alfred Monn. His story symbolizes the hopes that people in the region had for the NRLA. But his story also represents disillusionment. Many hopes and wishes associated with the NRLA construction site were not fulfilled.
