Two years ago on Christmas Day, a woman was run over on the sidewalk in Bern's Matte district by a drunk driver. The man was nicknamed the "Dead Driver of the Matte" in the media and was later convicted of negligent homicide. Here, the perpetrator recounts how that night changed his life.
