The USA, China, Russia, the EU, France, Great Britain and Germany negotiate round after round with Iran about its nuclear programme. For days, hardly any progress is made in the Geneva talks (2–4). In the middle of the night of 24 November 2013, the time has come for the historic breakthrough: At 4:30 am the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Javad Zarif, presents the agreement (1).
