The head of the World Health Organization, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, seeming to feel the pressure just prior to giving a much awaited keynote speech to global health officials and diplomats at the WHO Executive Board meeting at the beginning of February. Despite Chinese pressure the WHO had in the last week announced a Global Health Emergency.
