Motaz Azaiza photographed during the Human Rights Film Festival in Geneva, coming straight from Doha where he had been evacuated with his family after 108 day of shooting daily in Gaza. No longer photographing, he was becoming a powerful verbal witness to events, while trying to deal with his own intense trauma. Later named as one of Time's 100 most important people of 2024.
