In the summer of 2016, 500 refugees were trapped in Como after being turned back in Chiasso. They were living in a park near the train station. There, they charged their smartphones at a charging station powered by a mobile power generator. Mobile phones are vital to refugees' survival; they allow them to access information and communicate with their families.
