How do people live in cities where violence, climatic conditions, and demographics are beyond the norm? Their inhabitants could have deserted, but instead they stayed. These particularities are now part of their daily lives, and they inhabit them. Pollution, cold, and overcrowding have become part of their lives. How can I illustrate this? I chose to spend a few days with these city dwellers, often staying in their homes. The result is scenes of ordinary life, captured in an extraordinary environment.
